It is not unusual to be woken up in the middle of the night to the dogs howling like wolves at the top of their lungs. Like last night. At 4:30 am. Thanks dogs. I am very used to it by now, but it definitely scared the shit out of me the first few times it happened since it was right outside my window. I'm not sure why they do this, perhaps there are wolves nearby or some other danger and they are warning each other? Perhaps they just think it's hillarious to wake everyone up? Or perhaps it's just a natural thing. Luckily, Muffin was sound asleep in her crate in the laundry room at this point and she didn't start howling. Plus, her howl is the girliest, wimpiest howl ever and makes me laugh hysterically.
Where the other dogs are all: WWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
She's all: Waaaho! (Was that good guys? That was good right?) Much like Simba learning to growl in Lion King.
I will not miss being woken up by dog howls and fights, but it's better than waking up to the friggin fire alarm going off in my building at home for an hour straight. Can't wait!!!
